Since April 2022, the Mëllerdall region has been a member of the international network of UNESCO Global Geoparks. In the course of the intensive application process, UNESCO recommended that the special geological heritage be made even more visible and explained in a way that can be understood by anyone interested.
For this reason, the Natur- & Geopark Mëllerdall is working on designating selected hiking trails as Geo Paths. These trails are characterised by the fact that you can experience the geological heritage particularly well here.
