With the Mount vum Bongert, from September 15 to October 15, we celebrate the meadow orchards and their products that are so important for us. During this time there are various events on this topic: theme-specific menus in restaurants, activities for the whole family, picking action, pressing apple juice, fruit varieties Drive-In, etc
The Natur- & Geopark Mëllerdall organizes the Mount vum Bongert (Month of the Orchard) together with our partners Office Régional du Tourisme – Région Mullerthal -Petite Suisse Luxembourgeoise (ORT-MPSL) , Leader Region Mëllerdall, Administration de la nature et des forêts (ANF) and Mëllerdaller Produzenten asbl.

If you want to try out some fancy dessert creations with fruit from meadow orchards, then the three recipes that Virginie Teixeira, a final year student at the Hotel School (EHTL), has put together for us are just right for you. You can choose between a plum ring, an apple tartlet with honey and a puff pastry with apple mousse.
