Do you have pear trees in your orchard and have always wanted to know which varieties they are? Then you can hand in the pears that are already ripe to us by 5 September. They will then be identified by a pomologist.

Here are a few tips on how best to proceed: Hand in 6 specimens of the same tree. Pears hanging on the outside of the tree are best for identification. The pears must be ripe so that they can be identified correctly. If you want to identify pears from several trees, it is best to make a note of which pears come from which tree.

The pears can be handed in during the week from 8h00-17h00 at the Nature Park House (8, rue de l’Auberge L-6315 Beaufort).

For the pears that are not yet ripe, a second date will be announced in the next few weeks where you can have the later ripening varieties identified.
